Siemon has published a new white paper entitled ‘IEEE 802.11ac 5GHz Wireless Update and Structured Cabling Implications’. Introduced with the warning “Killer application alert”, the paper explains the very high throughput wireless standard, which supports up to 1.3Gb/s data rates with equipment available today and can theoretically support up to 6.93Gb/s data rates.
