GridGain Community Edition brings production readiness to Apache Ignite

GridGain Systems has released the GridGain Community Edition (GCE). GridGain Community Edition includes the Apache Ignite code base plus patches and additional functionality developed to improve performance, reliability, security and manageability. GCE undergoes extensive QA testing to ensure high reliability and optimal performance out of the box.

Organisations prefer a product-centric application delivery model

Eighty-five per cent of organisations have adopted, or plan to adopt, a product-centric application delivery model, according to a survey by Gartner, Inc. Although full adoption is rare, overall, survey respondents use the product-centric model for 40 per cent of their work in 2018. Gartner predicts that this figure will reach 80 per cent by 2022.
